The three Sherwood/NAHL Future Prospects Tournaments are hosted by the North American Hockey League, the only USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier II Junior A league in the country.
This season's tournaments, which are all USA Hockey-sanctioned and utilize the USA Hockey Officiating Development Program, are designed to maximize the exposure of all the Midget and Bantam participants through the NAHL's high-profile recruiting events, which attract hundreds of college, junior and professional scouts.
Each event is a four-game guarantee, with all game scores and statistics provided by Pointstreak and every championship game broadcast live over the Internet via B2 Networks. What's more, USA Hockey, NCAA and Junior seminars will be conducted to help educate both players and parents.

Held in conjunction with the Sherwood/NAHL Showcase Tournament in the Minneapolis suburb of Blaine, the season's first Future Prospects Tournament has established itself as one of North America's premier fall festivals. Every NAHL team participates in the Showcase, including the U.S. National Team Development Program.
With all Junior, Midget and Bantam games played at the eight-sheet Schwan Super Rink, the event offers unmatched exposure with hundreds of junior, college and professional scouts gathered under one roof.
An ideal holiday tournament, the second Future Prospects Tournament of the season, staged for the St. Louis suburb of Chesterfield, home of the NAHL's St. Louis Bandits, is the rare showcase where kids can compete without missing any school.
Not only will the tournament feature college and professional scouts, but at least one representative from every NAHL member team's coaching/recruiting staff is guaranteed to be in attendance throughout the week.
